On August 27, students from Kanazawa University's extracurricular group, the Volunteer Support Station (Bora Sapo), along with their advisor, Lecturer Kaisei Harada from Faculty of Economics and Management, Institute of Human and Social Sciences, co-hosted a festival event in Wajima City with three local organizations: New Furukawa Bakery, Kuma no Ouchi, and Jūzō Shrine.

The event was planned as an enjoyable event for both adults and children, with a fair space for children, kitchen cars, and food and beverage booths set up by restaurants in the city. Students from Kanazawa University’s Volunteer Support Station (Bora Sapo) managed the children’s booths, offering activities such as super ball scooping, target games, badge making, nail art, and hair styling. They also helped with preparations the day before and cleanup after the event. Approximately 130 children visited the kids’ festival area, making the event a great success.
