Health Service Center held a "Tasting simple breakfast soup with plenty of vegetables" on July 4 and 11 at the Natural Science and Technology Building, General Education Lecture Hall, as a part of students support program.
This tasting event was held with the aim of preventing students from skipping breakfast by introducing simple recipes such as soups. Under the guidance of a licensed dietitian, student crew members—volunteers from the center—served two dishes along with their recipes: "Tomato Curry Soup with Eggplant and Fresh Ginger to help combat summer fatigue," and "Simple and Low-Calorie Shiratama Anmitsu with Tofu."
On both days, many students gathered at the venues, and all servings were completely distributed. The event received positive feedback from participants, including comments such as: "I had curry with ginger for the first time—it wasn’t too spicy and tasted great!" , "It was very delicious. I’m glad I could get plenty of vegetables. Also, the service was quick and smooth," "The anmitsu was pleasantly chewy and didn’t taste like tofu—it was delicious and easy to eat," and "I hadn’t had fruit in a while, and it was really tasty."
