On July 3, an award reception was held with Professor Keiichi Hirano from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Institute of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences, who was awarded the Philipp Franz von Siebold Prize for 2025, President Takashi Wada, and Professor Yukio Kato, Director of Faculty of Pharmacy.
The Siebold Prize was awarded on June 26 at the Bellevue Palace in Berlin, where Professor Hirano received the prize from the German Federal President.
During the reception, a warm and friendly atmosphere prevailed as Professor Hirano spoke about his research leading up to the award, the experience of the award ceremony held in Berlin, and his aspirations for the future.
