Exemption and Refund of Examination Fee

Special measures for exemption from the examination fee for the entrance examination

Kanazawa University In order to alleviate the financial burden on those affected by natural disasters, etc., and to ensure that applicants have the opportunity to pursue higher education, the JASSO will offer special measures to exempt examination fees.
Please see below for details on the exemption, including the natural disasters and areas affected by the disasters.

Persons eligible for refund of examination fee

The application fee is not refundable for any reason after the application documents are received. However, in the following cases (a) through (d), the application fee will be refunded in full or in part.
a. In the following cases Those who have paid the application fee but have not applied.
b. Applicants who have been found to be ineligible to apply. Those who are found to be ineligible to apply.
c. Those who are found to be ineligible to apply. Those who have been rejected in the first round of the two-stage selection process at school.
d. Those who are ineligible for the special measures for examination fee waiver. Those who have paid the examination fee even though they are eligible for the special measures for exemption from the examination fee.

3. refund of examination fee

(1) Enter the necessary information from the "Application Fee Refund System" below and print out the Application Fee Refund Request Form (PDF). After printing, carefully check the items to be checked, enter ? in each check box (□), and be sure to sign the form in your own handwriting using a black pen or ballpoint pen in the space provided for the applicant's name.

Please send the completed application form to the address below by the designated deadline (for the deadline, please refer to the Special Measures for Exemption from Application Fees for the Entrance Examination or the application guidelines).

 

Notes. A printer capable of printing in A4 size is required to complete the registration process. After completing the registration for the refund system, you will not be able to view or correct the information you have entered. If there are any errors in the information you have entered, please re-enter the information from the beginning. No need to contact us in this case. If you do not sign the application fee refund request form in person, the fee will not be refunded. For all other applications, please make sure to attach the original "Certificate of Bank Transfer (for submission)" to the application fee refund request form. Please note that this is not a "Receipt (for the applicant). Please write "Application for Return of Application Fee" in red on the front of the envelope to be submitted. The examination fee will be returned by bank transfer.
